I was hired to teach a school of Catholic elementary-aged children art on Tuesdays.
Last night, Andy and I talked about a drawing that he made the other day of a fish. Since probably forever, Andy has drawn eyes on anything that has them by making two circles, middles flush, and drawing a line straight through to make seriously sodden, heavy eyelids. I told him that, in third grade, I had learned how to draw eyes like that from Jenni, who, in high school, became bulimic, then our class valedictorian.
